So we've decided on the breed...now need to find out if there are any litters due....
The first place I recommend for finding a breeder is at registered dog clubs. In Sydney, there is the French Bulldog Club of New South Wales.

It's important to speak to the breeders, they want to get to know you as much as you want to know about them and their dogs. They are not going to give their precious bundles of joy to anyone who just 'wants' a puppy cos they like the breed...they want to make sure that they are going to a happy home and will be treated like a baby. The best breeders are the ones that give a dam about their puppies well being.
Make sure you ask all the right questions:
* Ask to see the parents so you can determine what the personality of the dog is going to be like
* Ask for vaccination, microchipping and any other breed papers
* Ask if there are any genetic problems in the line
* Ask if there is a waiting list
The more questions you ask - the better.
